Plastic Storage Bins Create New Room Looks

by admin on 11:47 pm

We were sitting on the couch the other day when my wife told me we were going to redecorate the grand kids play room. Off to the store we zoomed because before she could redecorate, she had to take the old room decor and put it somewhere that would be safe in case she ever needed it again.

Now I’m walking through our local department store and found these stackable plastic storage bins with lids and everything. These large stackable plastic storage bins had a bent thirty degree front quarter and the lid dropped down with it, so you could lift the lid and see the first part of the contents of the large plastic storage bin without moving any of the storage bins that were stacked on top of the one you were looking into. I had to have these for my garage so I ended picking up two of them for my own use.

In the mean while my wife found these gigantic clear plastic storage bins, the kind that have 60 gallons of space and you can see through them and have a very pliable green lid, though I have seen red and white lids as well. They are very stackable and can be put up between the rafters onto the platforms overhead in the garage.

We picked up three of those as well as some of these really cool 18 inch large plastic storage bins and 12 inch small plastic storage bins that interlocked and together made stackable storage crates. The were very nicely crafted and seemed to be very sturdy in their construction with ribs and extruded protrusions going in angles to make them more rigid with gussets in the corners. I figured the kids would be safe if they climbed on them.

We checked out at the department store register and I was happy to keep the bill under what I thought we would spend for the amount of cheap plastic storage bins we had bought. Then it was off to the play room.

We spent some time re-arranging furniture and moving the plastic kitchenette over next to the rocking horse. Then there was the doll house had to be centered under the picture and she went on and on making me take apart the plastic stacking storage bins that made up the shelving matrix and restacking them and putting them back together again. I know she was just bored and wanted to do something different and I was glad to take the time out from working at the computer to help and spend a little quality time picking out some new stuff for the grandkids to play around.

Till next time -
